We’re not new to this business either. We started
many years ago, and are headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.
We are very stable, and will not be bought out by another
company! Our focus is acute care (H&P, Consults,
Op Notes, Discharge Summaries), but we also occasionally
hire for clinic, cardiology, oncology, and radiology
accounts. Our platform is proprietary, but it is very
user-friendly. It is a Word-based system that is compatible
with most expander programs such as Shorthand for Windows,
Instant Text, etc., Stedman’s Medical Spelling
Dictionary can be loaded on your computer, and our system
automatically calculates the lines for you. In fact,
with our system you can always see how many lines you
have completed, right up to the minute. Most of our
accounts are moving to a voice recognition platform
so if you are interested in editing, you also have that
option. We have no secrets here!
Here is a quick overview of what we can offer:
• We pay on a 65-character line, including spaces.
• We pay bi-monthly, and offer free direct deposit.
• We offer benefits (Great West PPO Medical Plans,
MetLife dental, EyeMed vision, plus short and long-term
disability, life insurance, & paid time off)
• We offer either employee or Independent Contractor-based
positions, and we offer flexible schedules, where you
set your own hours.
• Mentoring program – We will be initiating
a mentoring program for MLSs who are having a difficult
time with their accounts. This will help us to locate
the best MLS/account match, and will be an intensive,
one-on-one, skill-building program. We are committed
to partnering our MLSs with the account that best matches
their skill levels so we can all reach the pinnacle
of success together!
• Personal performance statistics in real time
such as document completion usage and daily productivity
targets.
• Volume reports letting each MLS know where
their accounts are in terms of TAT, volume in and out,
etc.
• A color-coded customer status display to let
every MLS know how we are doing with the customers that
they are pooled to transcribe.
• A list of others who are working on an MLS’s
accounts to help identify shift coverage, as well as
to facilitate networking with the people who transcribe
the same accounts.
Now here is what we’re looking for:
• 2 years of work experience with the basic 4
work types – H&P, Consult, Op, DS. or 2 years
of work experience with clinic, cardiology, oncology,
or radiology
.• Experience with a large number of dictators
(40 or more). Our clients are large hospitals or clinic
groups so there are many dictators (100 or more).
• Willingness to work on English dictations with
a foreign accent
• Last, but most important – a good attitude.
