Because The core of the U-Scribe service is built upon Microsoft
Windows® and SQL® server technologies it is easily integrated
into
existing organisation networks. It also means that U-Scribe is not
costly to implement, or to maintain. It will also support legacy
dictation / transcription devices from Dictaphone, Philips and Lanier.
The newer breed of digital recording devices are also easily integrated
into the system.
U-Scribe can also design and install LAN/ WAN/ Internet digital dictation
systems for organisations who wish to introduce the ultimate
dictation/ document workflow management system. Once installed
The U-Scribe service utilizes a microphone directly connected to an
authors PC. The dictation is routed from the authors PC via the
Network/ Intranet Server to the U-Scribe Server. Typists retrieve
jobs from the U-Scribe Server, with all of their associated routing
and job type data. Completed work is returned to the author and
any other required destination by the same route
